Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is check-in and check-out time?
    • Check-in is at 3 p.m. on the day of arrival. Check out is 12 noon on Sundays and weekdays. Upon request, some flexibility on check-in and check-out times may be available.
  • Can I reserve the retreats for something other than scrapbooking?
    • YES! Our retreats were designed with both scrapbookers and quilters in mind, but anyone is welcome.
  • What do I need to bring?
    • Bring your craft supplies, clothes, and toiletries.  (We recommend a light sweater for temperature changes.)
    • You may want to bring paper products (plates, silverware, napkins). We have a fully equipped kitchen with all of your cooking tools, including dishes and utensils.
    • Coffee – If you want some java to jump start your day, bring coffee. (Filters are provided but the coffee is not.)  Or bring some k-cups, each retreat has a Keurig machine.
    • Crock pots – Each retreat has two large size crock pots.
    • All bed linens, pillows, and towels are provided.
    • Scrapbooking supplies – each retreat does have a stock of scrapbooking supplies.  Payment is based on the honor system, but there are some items if you need them.
    • Quilters – each retreat has irons, ironing boards, cutting mats, and extension cords.
  • Do we have to share beds or are there bunk beds?
    • This isn’t summer camp!   There are no bunk beds, and there is no sharing of beds. The retreat have multiple beds, all of which are twin beds.
  • Is smoking permitted?  How about pets?
    • Our Retreats are a smoke-free and pet-free retreats. We ask that you kindly respect this rule.
  • Is there enough parking?
    • Because the retreat is located in the country, there is ample parking for everyone.
